In December 2009 I flew to the Philippines to photograph boxer and national treasure Manny Pacquiao, the only fighter ever to win seven different world titles at seven different weights, for a feature in GQ magazine. The story was to run in the March 2010 issue to coincide with his then scheduled fight with Floyd Mayweather.

I had the privilege to go to the festival back in 2005 for the now sadly defunct Premiere Magazine. Each year they sent out a photographer to shoot a portfolio of actors, directors and wanna be’s in attendance. It was a huge (nerve wracking) thrill for me as I usually don’t do much celeb work. It was also a massive honor as the magazine usually chose an up and comer for the project.
